Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași and COST CIG project NANOCONVEX are hosting the third European Symposium on Nanofluids (ESNf) between 9 – 10 September 2021. The event will be fully online.
The European Symposium on Nanofluids (ESNf) aims to provide researchers closely working in the new enhanced fluids area with a favourable framework for communicating the results of their research, exchanging ideas and initiating new collaborations, refine their theoretical and methodological approaches, encouraging presentation and continuous development of interdisciplinary research in such a challenging topic.
These are a series of international symposiums under the auspices of the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) CIG Action – NANOCONVEX, under the continuation of COST Action CA15119 – Overcoming Barriers to Nanofluids Market Uptake (NANOUPTAKE).
The event provides a platform for global collaboration and exchange of knowledge between researchers and engineers working on nanofluids – suspensions with particles ranging in size from 10 nm to 100 nm – and related areas.
For more information regarding the event, please see the official website.
The organising committee:
- Professor Alina Adriana Minea, PhD. Eng.
- Assistant Andrei Ionuţ Donţu, PhD. Eng.
- Assistant Elena Ionela Cherecheş, PhD. Eng.
ESNf first took place in 2017 in Lisbon and then in 2019 in Spain. TUIASI Rector Professor Dan Cașcaval, PhD. Eng., and Nanoconvex Project Director, PRofessor MAtthias H. Buschmann of ILK Dresden, Germany will be present at the opening ceremony of this third edition.
Two main papers by Professor Marc J. Assael (Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, Grecia) and Professor Leonor Hernandez (Universitat Jaume I Castellón, Spania) and another 55 papers for the three panels of the event will be presented. See the schedule here here.
There will also be a 600 euro prize for the best paper done by a young researcher.
